How to Buy an Idea Home

Your next home is just around the corner.

Find an Idea Home Community

The first step in discovering your Idea Home is to visit our communities, where modern luxury, quality and safety come together. We are expanding to different areas all of the time, giving you more options of where you can call home. Each Idea Home community is thoughtfully developed to be within city limits so you never have to sacrifice quality and affordability for a great location.

We enjoy meeting new buyers, even if you’re just thinking about an Idea Home. We know buying a new home is always a big deal, no matter if it’s your first or among many. Because we are a local, small company, you can be sure when you call, you’ll be talking to us, not a corporate headquarters in a different state. We’re here to answer your questions, whether over the phone or in an in-person meeting. We’d love to show you some of our beautiful model homes so you can see for yourself just how much value you get for your money with an Idea Home.

3 Ways to Purchase an Idea Home

1. Build The Home That’s All You

Idea Homes communities are located in new, up-and-coming neighborhoods that offer you the incredible opportunity to build your next home. When you work with Idea Homes, you not only get one of the most well-constructed, modern luxury homes on the market, you get a dedicated builder who is there when you need him.

Pre-Construction

Pre-Construction

The ultimate in flexibility, you get to choose your lot, home style and elevation, then make your product selections and any upgrades you’d like to include. Your builder will meet with you before construction begins to review any changes and your selections, then walk you through how your home will be built.

During Construction

During Construction

After framing and before the sheetrock goes in, you’ll meet with your builder onsite to review the progress and walk through your home. You’ll get to see the care and quality that goes into everything we do. This is an exciting phase as you see your home coming together right before your eyes.

Post-Construction

Post-Construction

Congratulations! You’re home is finished and you’re ready for your final orientation before you move in. Your builder will spend time explaining how everything works, home maintenance recommendations, and your home warranty details. Your home comes with a 10-year home warranty.

2. Buy an Inventory Home and Move In

Many of our communities have recently-completed Idea Homes that are move-in ready. These come with amazing features standard, such as open floor plans, 10-foot ceilings, kitchen islands with granite, stainless steel appliances, modern convenience and security features, and much more. All they’re missing is you!

The benefits of moving into a inventory home is that it is ready as soon as you are ready to move. Unlike used homes, your new Idea Home is covered for 10 years by the highly-rated Home of Texas™ home warranty. You can have the home of your dreams without the wait.

3. Purchase a Home Under Construction

Many of our buyers come to us after construction on an Idea Home has already begun. Depending on how far into the construction process we are, this can be the perfect opportunity to jump in and make your own finish selections and changes. This option shortens the time to move-in but allows you to add your personal touches.

Give us a call and we can show you any available homes under construction in the community in which you desire to buy. Often, we have multiple available homes per community, giving you the ability to choose which style and floorplan you want to call yours.

Your Idea Home is waiting for you.
